The Human Security Unit-OCHA is hosting a series of regional workshops entitled “Applying the Human Security Concept in Project and Programme Development, Implementation and Monitoring”. Based on the handbook entitled “Human Security in Theory and Practice”, the objective of the workshops is to provide UN programme managers and officers with in-depth understanding of the application of the human security concept and the main challenges faced in developing, implementing and monitoring human security projects by UN Country Teams.
