19 August 2005: The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations organized an informal consultation at the United Nations headquarters to brief experts of the Permanent Missions to the United Nations about the activities of the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security (UNTFHS) and its impact on people and local communities. The briefing was chaired and introduced by Ambassador Toshiro Ozawa of the Permanent Mission of Japan and was followed by presentations from the Human Security Unit (HSU), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Millennium Project.
