31 July 2007: Organized jointly by the Permanent Missions of Japan and Mexico, and OCHA, the workshop examined the international community's response to climate change from the perspective of human security. Specifically the workshop focused on the impact of climate change in developing countries, the challenges of disaster risk reduction and the interlinkages between development and security.
