National focal points
The Joint Unit, through its Advisory Group on Environmental Emergencies (AGEE), has established a global network of officially designated National Focal Points (NFPs). This network of NFPs serves as a channel for information and assistance and allows the Unit to maintain efficient links between potential donor and recipient countries. The network has been considerably expanded over the past several years and presently includes more than a hundred countries in all regions of the world.
