Since January 2009, $207.6 million has been allocated for rapid response to 34 countries and the occupied Palestinian territory and $129 million for underfunded emergencies to 19 countries and oPt.
In 2008, CERF contributed nearly $300.5 million to rapid response grants to 53 countries and over $128.3 million to underfunded emergencies in 20 countries. CERF has funded over 400 humanitarian projects in 2008*. In 2007, CERF committed more than $227.8 million to rapid response grants in 49 countries and $123.1 million to underfunded emergencies in 23 countries. CERF funded over 400 humanitarian projects in 2007.
Since its launch on 9 March 2006, CERF has committed close to $1.4 billion for over 1,670 projects in 73 countries and oPT, spanning the globe in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America*.
More than $918 million went to jump start humanitarian response in rapid onset crises or sudden deteriorations of existing crises in 73 countries and the occupied Palestinian territory. Over $457 million went to underfunded crises in 36 countries and the occupied Palestinian territory*.

Close to $399.4 million was pledged for CERF in 2009. In 2008, 81 Member States, one Observer State and seven private organizations committed more than $457 million to CERF.
