This first CAP for Nepal is based around a 15-month common humanitarian action plan - prepared in close collaboration with the Nepal government, donors, UN agencies, NGOs and the Red Cross Movement - to address humanitarian and human rights concerns. 26 agencies present some 60 projects for a total of $65m covering activities in the realms of contingency planning; human rights protection; refugee support; expansion of basic services; natural disaster risk management and coordination.
