The Regional Humanitarian Partnership Team (RHPT) was formed in May 2007 to act as an IASC based structure for senior inter-agency coordination and decision making at regional level. The RHPT is chaired by OCHA. Its priority areas of activity are Humanitarian reform; Assessment and analysis tools; Advocacy; and Resource mobilization. The RHPT also collaborates around the issue of contingency planning including the application of the new IASC guidelines and on multi-country and cross border planning.
