 CAP Workshop


The 2009 West Africa Consolidated Appeals Process (CAP) has started  with a preparatory workshop on September 10 and 11, 2008 at the Ngor Diarama hotel in Dakar.

CAP workshops bring together diverse humanitarian partners to debate openly and critically the humanitarian response and coordination mechanisms, with the aim of learning lessons and improving response and accountability.

The CAP workshop 2009 focus on the humanitarian consequences of the soaring food prices in the context of West Africa, identifying priorities and building scenarios for the coming year. The workshop has facilitated agreement on how to prepare the next Consolidated Appeal document. Click below to download document and materials related to the workshop :
