This Guide provides the instructions and documentation needed to support facilitators in the design and delivery of the Inter Agency Emergency Simulation or “IAES”, an emergency preparedness and response simulation exercise and follow-up debriefing workshop. The IAES is based on a UNICEF simulation model and methodology, and has been adapted by UNICEF, WFP and OCHA regional office staff to address the learning needs of inter agency, humanitarian country teams.
